Award-winning removal men
We trust our removal men to provide you with a smooth, professional removal. We know they are the key to your move living up to your expectations and a smooth start in your new home. Because of this, we like to reward them for going the extra mile to ensure our customers are satisfied with the removal service they receive from Britannia Goodwins.
At the end of each month, we review the comments on our Customer Care Survey, along with the customer reviews left for us online, in addition to any emails that clients send to us about their move. We determine which of our men in each branch has received the greatest number of positive comments and feedback each month and award the one with the best score with the title of Removal Man of the Month. Each quarter, we then determine who is the overall high-scoring removal man of the quarter. Finally, every year we reward the man who has the highest score for the year with the title of Removal Man of the Year.
The men take these awards very seriously, and there's a lot of friendly competition among them to see who will win the award every month.

How are our appointments carried out
In the current times you might prefer that we don't visit your house in person to carry out a survey. This is fully understandable and we can just as easily undertake the survey by video call, using whatever method you're comfortable with (FaceTime, WhatsApp etc).

The team were absolutely fantastic. They were polite and professional throughout and took the stress away from us on moving day. They took care of everything and even found our son’s Christmas elves which was a huge help and helped settle our son into our new house.

How can we improve our service?
Think there are a few things pre-move day that would help.
- A general email to say what to expect, perhaps a video that shows what will happen. Moving house is stressful enough and this would’ve helped take the edge off.
- A text message to confirm what time the team is arriving, potentially with the team member names included - we feel this would be a nice personalised touch.
BUT - on the actual day the team were brilliant and should be praised for their efforts.
